Hereafter, the process of how to "Send" and "Receive" money with Ria-MTM and the types of IDs accepted:

Types of IDs accepted for Send & Receive Money:

Lebanese ID, valid passport, Extract of civil registration (not older than 6 months), Form 1 and 2 (for military people), Residency permit (for non-Lebanese), UN card, UNHCR card or Palestinian refugee card issued by the Lebanese authorities.

How to Send Money:

1. Locate the nearest MTM location or call our contact center at 81 - 477000 or 01 - 500012
2. Provide MTM's Agent/Operator with the following: i) Your original valid ID, ii) Your address and contact details, iii) The Destination Country and the Receiving currency, iv) The transfer amount and the fees in Cash USD and v) The Receiver's first and last name as mentioned on his ID or Passport
3. Ask for your "Send Money" receipt, including the 11-digit RIA PIN, duly signed and stamped by the Agent/Operator
4. Send the 11-digit RIA PIN to the Receiver for instant Cash pick-up. You can track the Status of your transfer online.

How to Receive Money:

1. Locate the nearest MTM location or call our contact center at 81 - 477000 or 01 - 500012
2. Provide MTM's Agent/Operator with the following: i) The 11-digit RIA PIN, ii) Your original valid ID, iii) Your address and contact details and iv) The Sender's first and last name, Originating Country, and the amount you expect to receive.
3. Sign the "Payout Money" receipt.
4. Collect the funds in Cash USD exclusively. Please ensure to count the money in full before leaving the location.

Terms & Conditions:

1. The Ria Money Transfer Service is available to persons above 18 years.
2. "Payout Money" or Inbound Transfers are paid in Lebanon in Cash USD exclusively. These transfers are subject to a 1% cash-handling fee, displayed on the receipt, to manage USD liquidity, including shipping, transportation, insurance and distribution costs. This fee appears on the "Payout Money" receipt.
3. Ria exchange rates are applicable when converting money from US Dollars to other currencies and vice versa.
4. Other terms and conditions may be applicable and Limitations on amounts that can be sent vary by country.
