Hereafter, the process of how to "Send" and "Receive" money Locally inside Lebanon through MTM Agent locations and the types of IDs accepted:

Types of IDs accepted for Send & Receive Money:

Lebanese ID, valid passport, Extract of civil registration (not older than 6 months), Form 1 and 2 (for military people), residency permit (for non-Lebanese), UN card, or Palestinian refugee card issued by the Lebanese authorities.

How to Send Money:

1. Locate the nearest MTM location or call our contact center at 81 - 477000 or 01 - 500012
2. Provide MTM's Agent/Operator with the following: i) Your original valid ID, ii) Your address and contact details, iii) The transfer amount and the fees in Cash USD or LBP and iv) The Receiver's first and last name as mentioned on his ID or Passport
3. Ask for your "Send Money" receipt, including the 12-digit MTM PIN, duly signed and stamped by the Agent/Operator
4. Send the 12-digit MTM PIN to the Receiver for instant Cash pick-up.

How to Receive Money:

1. Locate the nearest MTM location or call our contact center at 81 - 477000 or 01 - 512000
2. Provide MTM's Agent/Operator with the following: i) The 12-digit MTM PIN, ii) Your original valid ID, iii) Your address and contact details and iv) The Sender's first and last name and the amount you expect to receive.
3. Sign the "Receive Money" receipt.
4. Collect the funds in Cash USD or LBP, as transferred by the Sender. Please ensure to count the money in full before leaving the location.

Terms & Conditions:

1. The MTM Local Money Transfer Service is available to persons above 18 years.
2. The maximum sent amount per transaction is 30 million LBP for transactions in LBP and 4,000$ for transactions in USD. The transaction is paid or received in the same currency.
3. MTM Local Money Transfer is paid at MTM locations only.
